07/07/88

All day long I've written the date 07/07/88.
OOPS.
Why?
My Airframe and Powerplant licenses are Twenty Years old today.
The Matchstick obscures my number.
The address is 20 years old.
And my signature... You should see it now! LOL!
Illegible to say the least!!!

Heh, and I'll bet you don't weigh 126 pounds anymore, either. What a toothpick you were!

My pilot certs look exactly the same. But the FAA now wants us to discard the paper thing and go to a new, magnetic-stripperized plastic certificate. I would make the switch, but it has a picture of two bald guys on it. People might think it's a picture ID :(

Anyway, congrats on 20 fun years in the biz. ...At least, I hope they were fun years.

Mostly Fun. Having a ball now!

I've thought about the plastic ticket. Just lacks the cache'. The old paper ticket is akin to the older A&E license. I've only seen ONE of those.

Yeah, 126 is behind me now. I got on the (calibrated) aircraft scales. IN fairness, I was dressed, had on work boots and my Batman belt with cell phone, leatherman and flashlight on... Seems I'm tipping the bar at 130 lbs 20 years later.
